Strawberry Hills, Sydney NSW
Around 2015 I had visited some friends in Sydney after catching the train down from Newcastle. We went to a few street spots but were kicked out of all of them almost instantly. The smell of autumn was in the air and the leaves paved the road. Its these moments where its you and a few close friends just going for a skate with no worries of the world surrounding you. This image reminds me how its the small insignificant moments that mean the most; Living in the mundane and making the most of it. It wasn’t till I was older that I realised this is so beneficial for my mental health. I don’t jump down stairs or pursuit bettering my skills in skateboarding anymore, but I still get on the board and go for a roll. Pushing is therapeutic.
