Went for a dusk swim hoping that the sky would turn pink. The swell had been flat for the past 3 days and I just needed to get in the water. The sky didn’t go pink like I had hoped and I was looking at my surroundings for what I could use as a subject. These 3 Pine trees have always stood out to me as markers for when I have been surfing. I then wanted to implement a breaking wave to represent this idea. I was very lucky to get this as I was loosing light quick.
